#WeRememberEifel - Raum der Stille und des Gedenkens

Room of Silence and Remembrance for people who became victims of the National Socialist tyranny around the International Square Vogelsang.

#WeRememberEifel is dedicated to the life stories of the people who became victims of the National Socialist tyranny in the region around the International Place Vogelsang. It currently comprises 40 biographies of individuals from places like Aachen, Gemünd, Euskirchen, Prüm, and beyond, who were persecuted for various reasons by the Nazi regime. The information for the biographies has been provided by school project courses, history clubs, initiatives for memory culture, and private individuals. #WeRememberEifel aims to be a permanent and continuously growing initiative to collaboratively shape memory culture with various actors in the region.

Opening: 29.01.2026 - 11 a.m. with welcoming words and a substantive introduction, as well as musical accompaniment.
