Orgelkonzert in der Schleidener Schlosskirche

František Vaníček, professor of organ at the University of Hradec Králové (Czech Republic), will be performing on the historic König organ.

The program features works by Czech composers as well as by Johann Sebastian Bach, Louis-Nicolas Clérambault, Johann Jakob Froberger, Hans Leo Hassler, Georg Muffat, and others.

Vaníček studied in Pardubice, Prague, and Utrecht; he is a prize winner at international competitions and has performed in over 1,200 organ recitals worldwide. He has been teaching organ in Hradec Králové since 1995 and is currently the university’s vice-rector.
