Kinder-Theater: Max und Moritz

The Herhahn-Morsbach Theater Group is presenting "The Jungle Book" at the Herhahn Community Center.

On Christmas Eve, while trying out her new game console, Marie finds herself right in the middle of the game. In the marzipan castle of the Toy King Lollipop, she witnesses her toys coming to life and the vengeful Mrs. Mauserinks casting a spell on the snobbish Princess Pirlipat, turning her into a mouse. Only with the help of the golden nut from the witch Krakatuk can the evil spell be broken. Prince Theodor is able to rescue the princess with Marie’s help and the assistance of the Sugar Fairy, but as punishment, he is transformed into an ugly nutcracker. As the toys battle against Mrs. Mauserinks and her mice, Marie needs a great deal of courage and imagination to help her friend Theodor. Will Marie manage to solve all the challenges in the play and secure victory over Mrs. Mauserinks?

In this Christmas fairy tale, the Herhahn-Morsbach Theater Group takes the audience on an exciting and emotional journey into the fantasy world of little Marie. Through her childlike view of the world, the boundaries between dream and reality blur, bringing her toy characters to life.

The performances are highly entertaining for both children and adults.

Admission is free, and on both days starting at 2:00 p.m., you can enjoy coffee and delicious homemade cake.
