Nestled in a valley rich in forest and water, in the Eifel National Park, the building with its impressive wooden façade and large transparent window areas fits perfectly into the surrounding nature. The youth hostel is one of the certified national park hosts and is thus the ideal base for numerous outdoor activities. School classes not only learn a lot about the Eifel National Park and its animal and plant life in Gemünd Vogelsang, but they also benefit from the proximity to the "International Place Vogelsang". The 100-hectare site of the former NS-Ordensburg Vogelsang is now a modern extracurricular learning and cultural event venue. Therefore, cooperation with the "International Place Vogelsang" for school trip offers is even stronger than before. Program offerings around the themes of tolerance, respect, and prevention are supplemented by historically political programs and components. Choirs, music, and conference groups appreciate exclusive work opportunities with nature-oriented after-work experiences at the youth hostel Gemünd Vogelsang. Thanks to the unique location on the edge of the village and forest, the new youth hostel Gemünd Vogelsang is also very attractive for families and those seeking relaxation. In the heart of the Eifel National Park, just 4 km from Vogelsang and 200 m from the Eifelsteig trail, lies this quaintly furnished farmhouse. The Eifel square farmhouse dates back to the 18th century and has been faithfully restored. In addition to two vacation apartments, a cozy farmhouse café invites you to linger.

We have built a total of 11 vacation homes with great attention to detail in the middle of the Northern Eifel National Park and have been open since May 2021. There are two types of house: - three times 4-person house with two separate bedrooms and 80 square meters of living space - eight times 2-person houses with one bedroom and 40 square meters of living space. The high-quality furnished vacation homes are spread over two levels. Highlights include a wood-burning stove, Finnish sauna, fully equipped kitchen, TV, large panoramic windows, comfortable box-spring bed, underfloor heating, shower room, reading niche, optional breakfast service, private terrace with outdoor seating and ample customer parking. The grounds of the vacation homes are car-free, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. The houses are offered including final cleaning, bed linen, towels, bathrobes and all utility costs. The minimum stay is 2 days and 4 days during the vacations. Arrival from 15:00 and departure until 10:30

In de onmiddellijke nabijheid van het Nationaal Park Eifel, de meren Urft en Rur en kasteel Vogelsang, vindt u ons in het mooie Kneipp-kuuroord Gemünd, direct aan de Marienplatz. Van hieruit kunt u uw wandelingen beginnen op de Eifelsteig, de Wildnistrail of de Eifel-Höhen-Route. We hebben nog vele andere tour suggesties voor u klaar. Als een Nationaal Park gastheer, heten we u welkom in ons huis. De kamers stralen pure gezelligheid uit en nodigen u direct uit om van uw vakantie te genieten. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van boxspringbedden, gelijkvloerse douche en WC, haardroger, hand- en badlaken. Verder bieden de kamers een flatscreen-tv, W-LAN, een waterkoker en een balkon. Als gast in ons huis bieden wij u de GästeCard aan, waarmee u gratis met bus en trein kunt reizen van het VRS Rhein Sieg vervoersnet, bijv. vanuit Bonn of Keulen, evenals het AVV vervoersnet van Aken. U kunt tijdens uw verblijf ook gratis reizen met de geldige vervoersverenigingen en zo uw dagtochten met bus en trein plannen. Als u vroeg boekt, ontvangt u de kaart vóór uw verblijf, zodat u deze kunt gebruiken voor uw reis in de VRS en AVV, bijv. op de lokale treinen van Deutsche Bahn vanuit Keulen.

The house is located on a quiet village street with no through traffic. The wilderness trail leads directly past our house. The rooms were newly renovated in 2008. We provide you with approx. 32 square meters of space, consisting of a double room, separate bathroom (upstairs) and lounge (downstairs).
