Eifelerlebnis: Wandern & Besichtigen & Schifffarth
Bushaltestelle Gemünd Kirche
Hike with a visit to the Urft dam.
Embark on a guided tour through the "Wild Kermeter" in the middle of the Eifel National Park. The trail leads down to the Urft Dam, an architectural monument dating back to 1905 - the largest dam in Europe at the time.
A special highlight: a tour of the cool interior of the dam wall with numerous steps - an impressive experience amidst the massive engineering of times gone by.
The return journey is a relaxed one with an almost silent electric boat trip across the idyllic Obersee. The numerous meanders offer fantastic views of nature - it is not for nothing that this section of the lake is also known as the "Amazon of the Eifel".

Elevation gain: approx. 100 m downhill
Difficulty level: easy, not barrier-free, suitable for families)
Visit: Warm clothing and sturdy shoes for the many steps.
Time: 9.20 a.m.
