Star Guides explain the celestial event, safe observation opportunities, and exciting insights into astronomy make the evening a family experience.

A partial solar eclipse will be visible over Germany, and visitors in Vogelsang can experience this extraordinary celestial event live. The Moon will cover part of the solar disk, creating a fascinating play of shadows in the sky.

From 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., you will learn how solar eclipses occur, why they are rarely observed, and what special features the eclipse in 2026 offers. Special observation devices and safe solar filters allow for a safe view of the Sun, while several Star Guides clearly explain the formation and progression of the eclipse. Participants will be provided with special solar glasses, which are included in the price.

The event offers both interested beginners and experienced stargazers the opportunity to experience one of the most impressive natural phenomena of our time together. In addition, the Star Guides provide insights into our solar system, current celestial events, and solar observation. Vogelsang, with its special location and atmosphere, provides the ideal setting for this event. The unobstructed view over the surrounding landscape allows for particularly good observation conditions. Whether families, hobby photographers, or astronomy enthusiasts – everyone is warmly invited to be part of this extraordinary evening.
