Guided hike with the Eifelverein OG Gemünd.

The Gemünd journalist Josef Lorbach, residing before the construction of the Urft Dam on the farm "Krummenauel," located in the middle of what would later become the Urft Lake, has brought the lives of the workers and the economic significance of the Urft Lake closer to everyone through his research and stories surrounding the construction of the Urft Dam. A railway line through Gemünd for the construction of the dam? A powder mill in the Urft Valley? A fish breeding facility in the Böttenbachtal? There is much to tell.

Hiking route with a moderate ascent through the Böttenbachtal to Wolfgarten. For those who find that too strenuous, they can return flat to the youth hostel from the entry into the Böttenbachtal.
