In 2026, the Eifelverein Gemünd, in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaft, Tourismus und Veranstaltungen mbH Schleiden, will once again offer its popular health hikes.

Health hiking combines simple hikes with effective movement and relaxation exercises as well as health-related knowledge. The aim is to integrate more exercise into everyday life - and this works particularly well in a group of like-minded people.

The hikes are led by certified health hiking guide Elke Griskewitz and are a recognized offer from the German Hiking Association. Each session lasts around 90 minutes. Health hiking offers an ideal opportunity to be active and enjoy nature at the same time.

In the event of thunderstorms, storm warnings or persistent heavy rain, there will be no health hike.
