In 2025, the Eifelverein Gemünd, in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaft, Tourismus und Veranstaltungen mbH Schleiden, will again offer the popular health hikes.

Health hiking is a holistic offer for more health and vitality: With joy in movement, in being together on the way, and in the nature around Schleiden.

What can you expect?
-Easy hikes of about 4-5 kilometers with moderate ascents
-Exercises for mobilization, coordination, strengthening, endurance, and relaxation
-Practical impulses that can be easily integrated into everyday life

Holistic fitness through the combination of walking and simple exercise routines.

The hikes are led by certified health hiking guide Elke Griskewitz and are a recognized offer of the German Hiking Association. Each session lasts about 90 minutes. Participants receive a handout with practical (exercise) tips for home after each hike.

Health hiking does not take place during thunderstorms or storm warnings, as well as continuous or heavy rain and heat.

Time: 16:30-18:00
Cost: €10 single ticket, €90 annual subscription (16 events), €30 annual subscription for members of the Eifelverein local groups Gemünd, Schleiden, and Dreiborn
