The DAV House "Eifeler Haus" in Vogelsang is located in the heart of the Eifel National Park and offers the perfect base for an active weekend filled with nature and movement. On Friday evening, we will start with a communal dinner followed by a movie night in the seminar room.  On Saturday and Sunday, we will embark on two guided hikes through the diverse landscape of the national park – with walking times of up to 8 hours each day and elevation gains between 600 and 700 m. The paths lead through beech forests, across open ridges, and past historical sites such as the former NS-Ordensburg Vogelsang, the Mariawald Monastery, and the lake district.  One of the stages runs partly on the famous Wilderness Trail. Breakfast and dinner will be prepared by the tour leaders. At breakfast, everyone can prepare a packed lunch for the journey. Dishwashing and kitchen duties (setting the table, clearing away, washing up) will be shared collectively. Our accommodation consists of simple dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms in the DAV House – rustic, cozy, and right in the greenery.

Distance: up to 8 hours of hiking each day with up to 700 m of elevation gain.
