The guided tour begins in Heimbach an der Rur and leads up to the observation tower of Hängebach Castle, one of the oldest buildings in the Eifel. After a break, the tour continues along the "jungle path" along the Rur, which is almost flat and partly on wooden walkways with a few steps. You pass enchanted "elf houses" and beautiful views of the water. The aim is to visit the listed Art Nouveau power station from 1905, which was the largest storage power station in Europe at the time.
