This event is not intended for mushroom collectors, but provides a comprehensive overview of the kingdom of fungi, which is distinctly different from the plant kingdom. One focus of the topic is, for example, systematics, another is mycorrhizal formation, i.e., the symbiotic lifestyle of fungi with plant roots. After introductory lectures, there will be an excursion to the grounds of Vogelsang.
