This compact two-week course is suitable for anyone who wants to acquire in-depth knowledge of plant identification (interested laypeople, nature guides, forest guides, teachers, students, gardeners, etc.). The first course unit is a two-day basic course, on which the remaining 6 course units build. Completion of the basic course is a prerequisite for participation in the subsequent 6 course units, of which you can complete all or just a selection. The latter do not build on each other, but deal with 2-3 plant families each, so that the participants can then recognize the 13 most common plant families and identify plants from them.

A botanical excursion into the field takes place on each day of the course; appropriate clothing is required.
