The painter Kirsten Treis showcases colorful images at the Eifel National Park Center that tell stories of the forest.
She lives in Bonn, close to the large forest conservation area of Kottenforst, where many of her walks lead. Fleeting everyday moments observed on excursions form the basis of her vivid works. Some of her findings could also originate from the Eifel. Fresh spring forest scenes tempt and the first heralds of the approaching spring bloom in vibrant colors.
