Schleiden

The Sportfischereiverein 1962 e.V. Gemünd offers passionate fly fishers day permits for the fly fishing waters from Oberhausen to the district of Olef from approx. May to October. Day permits are available at the Gemünd National Park Gate.

Fishing conditions

- Fly fishing with fly rod, artificial fly or nymph

- Overnight guests in the Schleiden municipal area with a minimum stay of 3 days (= 2 nights)

- Presentation of a valid fishing licence - Taking of max. 2 fish, minimum size 32 cm - Day ticket à 25 EUR plus fee 1,50 EUR

The Gemünder Rosenbad is located directly on the banks of the Urft above the spa gardens and owes its name to the magnificent rose bushes on the grounds. Adults, families with children, but also young people and senior citizens feel right at home in this traditional swimming pool. The pool has been barrier-free since summer 2021!

Pumptrack Schleiden

A pump track is a specially designed circular track for all types of bikes. It consists of wave-like hills, steep curves, and jumps that allow the course to be ridden without pedaling, but through weight shifting and targeted pulling and pushing movements (English: "pumping").
